It all started with roles in 2012's "Perks of Being a Wallflower" and "Afterschool," but the nonbinary actor, who uses they/them pronouns, eventually found mainstream success in 2016 as Credence Barebone in the Harry Potter "Fantastic Beasts" franchise and as superhero speedster Barry Allen in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."
In recent months, however, Miller has been attracting attention for other reasons.Earlier this year, Miller was arrested in Hawaii on charges of disorderly conduct and later on charges of assault. In June, the parents of an 18-year-old activist accused Miller of grooming the teen.

Actor T.J. Miller was taken into custody on March 27 after officers in Hawaii received a complaint about a disorderly patron and found him yelling obscenities, taking a woman's microphone, and lunging at a patron playing darts.
Because he became "agitated" by the karaoke singing of others, officers charged Miller with disorderly conduct and harassment.
A few hours later, Miller allegedly broke into the bedroom of a couple and was subject to a temporary restraining order, according to police. Miller was also accused of stealing a passport and wallet from the couple.

Nadia, a German woman who claims Miller harassed her when she refused to leave her Berlin apartment in February 2022, has come forward, according to a report in Variety. According to Variety, the woman claimed that Miller's demeanour changed when she asked them not to smoke in her apartment.
